![]() So, unless we state otherwise, please assume that any vehicle could have had remedial bodywork at some point in its life.Īdditionally, please note that most of the videos on our site have been recorded using simple cameras which often result in 'average' sound quality in particular, engines and exhausts notes can sound a little different to how they are in reality. We do take a good look at the vehicles delivered to our premises for sale, but this only results in our unbiased personal observations, not those of a qualified inspector or other professional, or the result of a long test drive.Īlso, localised paint repairs are common with collectable and classic cars and if they have been professionally carried out then they may be impossible to detect, even if we see the car in person. ![]() We offer far greater opportunity for bidders to view, or arrange inspections for each vehicle thoroughly prior to bidding than traditional auctions, and we never stop encouraging bidders to take advantage of this. If needed, please remember we have a network of suppliers we work with regularly including finance and storage companies, plus we have a list of contacts who can help with transport and shipping.īORING, but IMPORTANT: Please note that whilst we at The Market always aim to offer the most descriptive and transparent auction listings available, we cannot claim they are perfect analyses of any of the vehicles for sale. Please note that the title for this vehicle is in transit. It will require recommissioning prior to road use and is sold ‘as seen’. We have not started or driven the car so cannot vouch for its mechanical viability or functionality. The Market by Bonhams is excited to offer this Mark X for online auction with no reserve, and an estimate between $10,000 and $20,000. The Mark X may be somewhat obscure, but any avid Jaguar fans should certainly keep an eye on this car. This specific example has a handful of chips on the outside and some areas to address inside as well, but it won’t take much to turn back the clock and make this Jag the showstopper it used to be. Its handsome styling, great shape, and smooth interior make it an excellent choice especially when compared alongside competing Rolls-Royce’s from the same era. The Jaguar Mark X is a wonderful luxury car from the 1960s that never found a major audience. This interior needs a bit of freshening up, but it will not be necessary to move mountains to get the inside back to good condition. The wooden trim on each of the doors are in good shape and there are no chips present. ![]() Some of the wood trim in front of the rear seats could use a sanding and repolishing, but the fold-out trays appear to be in good condition. The rear bench shows a modest amount of creasing but there are again no holes or tears to be seen. ![]() The backseat is not much different than the front. The sun shades up front have left some adhesive on the headliner, but other than that the headliner is clean and tight. The wooden dashboard is clean, but at both edges, the wood is slightly deteriorated. The footwell for both driver and passenger are clean, the carpets fit into their respective positions with no issues. The front seats have no holes or tears, but they have a moderate level of creasing. The interior to this Mark X is black leather with plenty of wooden inlays.
